What is the cost for a cosmetic consultation?
We offer a 30 minute complimentary consultation with our patient care coordinator who has been working with Dr. Duncan for over 12 years. She is very familiar with all of our services so she can give you information on procedures you are interested in, show you before and after photos and be able to give you a ballpark cost.
If you decide that you want to meet with Dr. Duncan, her consultations average about 45 minutes with a cost of $75 that applies toward the cost of surgery. We do ask that when scheduling your consult you give a $25 deposit. If you need to cancel, give us a 24 hour notice and the deposit will be refunded to you. If after having your initial consultation you have more questions for Dr. Duncan before proceeding with surgery, there is no charge.
If I decide to proceed with surgery, what steps do I take?
After your consultation with Dr. Duncan you will provided an Estimate of Possible Services. This will break down the fees for your surgery and will give you an exact cost. If you decide to schedule surgery, you will be required to give us a $500 deposit and then pay your balance 3 weeks prior to surgery. If you have to cancel or reschedule within 3 weeks of your surgery date, the $500 is non-refundable.
Surgery is typically scheduled on Tuesdays or Wednesdays with you pre-op appointment on Monday and your post-op the following day or Thursday. Typically you return one week later and then six weeks later for a photo recheck
What are the different fees involved for cosmetic procedures?
The fees involved in a cosmetic procedure are usually 3 things: The surgeon fees, facility fees and anesthesia.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
As mentioned above, we require a $500 deposit and then your balance needs to be paid 3 weeks prior to surgery. You are welcome to make payments on your total balance up until the 3 weeks. Along with this we do have financing option such as care credit or surgery loans at our office. You can apply for these online to see how much you are approved for. We take the following forms of payment as, Cash, Check, Cashier’s Check, VISA, MASTERCARD, or DISCOVER. We do offer a 4% discount on your total if you pay with all cash.
Will insurance cover my procedure?
Plastic Surgical Associates does not bill insurance. Therefore if your insurance is willing to cover your procedure you will have to first pay us out of pocket and then be reimbursed by your insurance company. We will provide with the necessary documents needed to submit to your insurance company to get your reimbursement.
