During a consultation, we will discuss your primary treatment goals and provide our best recommendation for your care. We will take photos to facilitate a discussion about your aesthetic goals and provide you with a quote for the recommended treatment courses. From there, you can choose your desired course of recommended treatment, and we can schedule you accordingly. Since this treatment is so quick and easy, scheduling is much easier than with our more invasive procedures.At your treatment appointments, you will need to wear comfortable, metal-free clothing. Bringing a book for reading is always a good idea too! You will be sitting on a chair that sends HIFEM pulses through your pelvic floor, which replicates performing Kegel exercises.At your follow-up appointments, we will again take photos (even if the aesthetic outcome wasn't your primary goal) and review progress. Should you wish to pursue further treatments, that can also be discussed!
EMTONE uses heat and targeted pressure energy as its main tools to target stubborn fat and cellulite; as such, it feels like a massage hot stone that is pulsating against your skin. Depending on your sensitivity (and this varies day to day for many of our patients), it can get intense (just like a massage!), so be sure to let your provider know if you need a break.
Emsella candidates are looking to strengthen the pelvic floor to add to their overall health! Added benefits: urinary incontinence improvement, ED improvement, and increased core strength and stability.Candidate exclusions include BMIs over 40, metallic implants near the treatment site, pacemakers, and open wounds. Some patients note an improvement in their symptoms and overall quality of life as early as during the course of treatment (usually by the third or fourth treatment). However, this widely varies depending upon the severity of your symptoms, body awareness, and expectations.Many patients truly notice a marked change between the end of treatment and one month later. This timeline can also change between treatment sessions in our patients who choose to do more than one course of treatment!Note that Emsella’s prime directive is not aesthetic enhancement – when combined with a modality like NEO or Emtone, aesthetic results are seen!
Initially plan on 6, but follow-up or ‘maintenance’ treatments may be needed or desired to keep up on results!
